Claire is the Pharmacogenetics Research Manager and senior clinical research scientist, with over 25 years’ research experience. She has a strong background in governance, regulatory, enabling research, project management, leading a team, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and pharmacogenetics.

Claire has delivered the hugely successful programme of prospective NIHR multi research projects in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) including PRED4, PANTS www.exeteribdresearch.org and Covid-19 project CLARITYIBD www.clarityibd.org. These studies have successfully recruited over 10,000 patients across 140 NHS sites and 55 international collaborators. They have also contributed to the identification of 3 genetic markers.
