Christine completed her PhD at the University of Warwick studying antibiotic production regulation in Streptomyces coelicolor. She researched improvements in DNA extraction and DNA profiling techniques for the Forensic Science Service. She worked on the ProMaster, Mastermind and Interstroke and StartRight studies in the Exeter CRF. She has worked as a technician for Sarah Richardson for 6 years giving her experience of Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunofluorescence (IF) staining and imaging techniques. The current role funded by the BRC offers the opportunity to use her experience to support other researchers with brightfield and fluorescent staining to help progress their projects.
