As the BRC's Commercial Lead, Matt helps researchers commercialise their work, and find and develop relationships with suitable industry partners for a variety of purposes. He has versatile experience that spans diverse areas of science and business, having run a company in genetics and drug discovery, led commercial data science initiatives with the NHS and aligned organisations, and been an academic working in cancer, diabetes, IBD, and neuromuscular diseases. He is driven to create positive impact and value through innovation and collaboration, enjoys learning new things and solving complex problems that tackle real-world health challenges through the projects he works on in the BRC.
